ABOUT ME

Hey! I’m Katie Jaspersen—indie author, book cover designer, and all-around book lover (my favorite genre is romance....especially the dark kind).

What started out as me being laid-off in 2022 and impromptly becoming a stay-at-home mom, quickly grew into something I never expected. What cures a busy mind like mine? Well...Since then, I've written and illustrated children's books and adult romance novels, writing between toddler naps, late-night writing sprints, and way too much coffee. But my passion? Designing covers!

What started out as an author (me!) who had no clue what she was doing, I struggled to find cover designers who used no-AI, created beautiful designs, but were also affordable. Oh, that's where I come in!

I started my business in early 2025 and as an author, I knew how important it was to have a cover that actually feels like your book and so it began! Starting from square one, I slowly grew my business into something I am so proud of! I've designed over 100+ custom covers in 2025 alone and it's honestly become the best job in the world. 

I offer not only custom cover designs, but also many a-la-carte services for those that want just a little extra for their books! And for those on a tight budget? I also offer premade designs (most for under $100).
