ABOUT ME

Hey! I’m Katie Jaspersen—indie author, book cover designer, and all-around book lover (my favorite genre is romance....especially the dark kind).

Where to begin...Well, to be honest, I was laid-off in 2022 and impromptly became a stay-at-home mom, but what cures a busy mind like mine? Between late nights and toddler naps, I wrote and illustrated children's books and adult romance novels—fueled by WAY too much coffee. But my passion? Designing covers!

What started out as an author (me!) who had no clue what she was doing, I struggled to find cover designers who used no-AI, created beautiful designs, but were also affordable. Oh—that's where I come in!

I started my business in early 2025 and as an author, I know how important it is to have a cover that actually feels like your book and so K. Jaspersen Designs began! Starting from square one, I slowly grew my business into something I am so incredibly proud of! I designed over 100+ custom covers in 2025 alone and I'll be honest, this is the best job in the world.

I offer not only custom cover designs, but also many a-la-carte services for those that want just a little extra for their books. And for those on a tight budget? I also offer premade designs (most for under $100).

So, if you’re working on something and need a cover that feels right, I’d love to help!

P.S. If you are interested in my own author journey, give me a follow on my author page! @kjaspersenauthor
